Tell Minnesota: 10-Year-Olds Don't Belong in Adult Court
In Minnesota the court wants to take the 10 year old people with rights of adults. It is prove that the people below 16 or 17 not have their brain s developed as an adult. Minnesota has a good place in the USA of rational in the topic of justice. If Minnesota do this kind of rules it would send a wrong message. This law name is "Emily's law". This name is because a girl of 2 years old was murdered by a kid of 13 years old.
One solution is to do some foundations of rehabilitation for this kids that are taking the bad way.

Animals face horrific cruelties suffered in peoples benefit. The humane society of the United States revealed that a store in New York is selling rabbit and raccoon skin as faux fur. In order to commit with animal welfare the humane society has asked the strawberry store to stop selling real fur but they haven’t made any move. Because of that strawberry can have possibly jail for mislabeling real fur as faux fur. Strawberry is known around New York as for its bargain prices. Many consumers go there believing that cheap clothing means faux fur. But The HSUS's Patrick Kwan proved that low quality fur can be cheaper than high fake fur. The fur from these stores comes from china in fur farms where animals such as rabbits and raccoons are annually electrocuted or skinned alive.

  5. After all people know that public schools on Detroit were going to have 62 students per class, many voices of the country talked against.
Mandates from the state do that Robert Bobb elected made drastic desicions.
He was proposing to do that school stay open. This affect teachers. Bobb has proposed converting 40 of the district's schools into charter schools. That's on top of the large number of Detroit kids already in charter schools. This will affect all students from these schools, and also teachers are going to be expulsed. This idea would save the district a lot of money. "We shed all physical plant operations, maintenance, security, central overhead costs. Overall staffing are expected to be lower as well," said District spokesman Steve Wasko. Teachers were against this idea and it is an abuse and would mean violating their union contracts. If this idea was not accept, then the bill would give state-appointed emergency managers the ability to make drastic changes over the districts and municipalities that they oversee. Many people against the changes in distrits public passionate comments as Brianna Cummings that study on an public school on Detroit. She was against the district change.
She said that we have to help to make Detroit a better place to live and learn.Janee Brown, who lives in nearby Southfield, Michigan, is also a graduate of DPS. She says education should be last on the list for budget cuts.

  9. The Arlington City Council has just rolled out the red carpet for Chesapeake Energy to drill a fracking gas well only a few thousand feet from the Dallas Cowboys football stadium. Kim Feil, who lives close to the site, had been using her campaign on Change.org as one tool to fight the application. Her brave and dogged work had gained the notice of area media and definitely caught the Arlington Mayor and City Council's attention. Nevertheless, in a city such as Arlington, where hundreds of wells have already been drilled and where gas companies have successfully portrayed drilling revenues as "the right" of property owners to collect, Feil was fighting an uphill battle.

Violence in schools has been incrementig critically. Because of the guns that are carried to school.

A 19-year-old opened fire on students before killing himself, has gotten students riled up.
"We're basically fish in a barrel," said Lewis. "This is about changing the odds."
Fish in a barrel? Sitting in class? University of Texas at Austin grad student Aron Weinberg says concealed weapons won't make students any safer, but rather, will only bring more danger onto college campuses.
"If I was in a class, and saw a gun in someone's bag, that would make me incredibly nervous,"
While Weinberg acknowledges that there's a potential that a concealed weapon could be used to help in situations where a shooter opens fire on campus, he's concerned about the everyday situations college students encounter - drinking, parties, sexual assault and adolescent conflict.

  11. U.S. Immigration Plots Separation of Married Same-Sex Couples Again
Married same-sex bi-national couples across the United States had only 24 hours to celebrate an announcement by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) that the agency would no longer deny green-card applications filed by the couples. Thousands of married couples living together in the United States would again face the prospect of choosing between the person they love and the country they call home. Due to the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents cannot sponsor their spouses for a green card even if their marriage is recognized by the state where they reside, since the federal government controls immigration. This move would advance justice and fairness for LGBT U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents who are legally married to foreign-born immigrants. The abeyance of the same-sex marriage petitions is in the best interest of everyone with a real stake in this matter.

  12. Bei Bei Shuai currently languishes in jail without the opportunity to even post bail. Her crime? Being deeply depressed and attempting to commit suicide.
But for anti-choicers in Indiana, where Shaui lives, what's important isn't this woman's mental or physical health. They're not disturbed that Shaui found herself so unable to cope with life that she swallowed rat poison, a slow and agonizing way of dying, or looking to help her get better since she survived after the intervention of friends. No, instead they want to toss in jail. Because Bei Bei Shaui was pregnant at the time, and after the failed suicide attempt, a c-section was performed on her -- and a few days later, the premature baby delivered died.
Of course, there's no evidence that we've seen that Shaui's desire was to self-induce an abortion -- the evidence perhaps only exists in the minds of anti-choice prosecutors. The willingness to set such a precedent shows a callous disregard for individuals suffering from a mental condition. And the I wonder where the justification for refusing bail lies -- this disturbed woman hardly poses a danger to society. She wasn't looking to harm anybody else, only, sadly, herself.
Shaui's cause has been taken up by National Advocates for Pregnant Women (NAPW), who argue that a woman doesn't check her rights at the door then she becomes pregnant. For any non-pregnant woman, suicide is a mental health issue, not a crime. Pregnant women have the right to be treated with the same humanity.

  13. The World Society for the Protection of Animals just announced a victory for companion animals in Korea. WSPA member organization, Korea Animal Rights Advocates, has been campaigning against online pet sales, citing that 70 percent of pets in the country are bought online. "Selling animals online is a disastrous situation and only exacerbates such problems as puppy mills. Also among the complaints were that very young puppies were being sold, that the identity of buyers and sellers can't be fully monitored, and that sellers weren't complying with basic animal welfare laws.

  14. In a day and age when one in three children are overweight or obese, and when the average child spends 7.5 hours a day in front of a screen, kids need all the outdoor playtime they can get. But in Florida, a homeowner association cares about peace and quiet than it does about the health and well-being of neighborhood children. Kids can no longer be kids. The punishment for noncompliance? A $100 fine. The ban has allegedly been proposed because of “safety concerns.” Not only must kids walk and use their “indoor voices” outside, but they must also be supervised by a “responsible” adult at all times, regardless of whether they are three or 11 years old. “They came in and rented in a community that does not have a playground and is not conducive to children. Then they expect the children to play in the driveways and parking lot. You wouldn't see them playing in the parking lot at Walmart or Kmart, but they come here and turn the children loose.” The proposed ban is not only outrageous, it may even be illegal. They reported a similar story last year about a condo association in Methuen, Mass., which was fining families $500 for letting their kids play outside. KaBOOM!, which is dedicated to saving play for American children.

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Crisis continues. In fact, it is getting worse. If thousands of HIV-positive individuals are unable to pay for their medications now without government financial assistance, surely they won't be able to pay with the increase in prices. This is such a ludicrous move. Our health care system is already stretched beyond recognition and continues to face burdens and challenges. So what does Pharma do? Raise the prices of their already insanely expensive medications, thereby further straining state and federal government funding and our health care system.
